✏️ Sketch a Floor Plan:
Draw a simple bird's-eye view of your room on paper.
Include all doorways, alcoves, bay windows, and closets to avoid overlooking any tricky corners.
📏 Take the Measurements:
Length and Width: Use a tape measure to gauge the longest and widest parts of the room, keeping the tape flat against the skirting boards.
Doorways: Measure all the way to the center of each doorway.
Alcoves & Bays: Measure these areas separately as mini-rectangles.
