Our Offering cushion is handwoven on both the front and back, with cantuta flowers hand-embroidered in the centre.

The Incas used the cantuta flower in rituals dedicated to Mother Earth, in gratitude for all that nature provides. We honour that by using only natural fibres and dyes, and forming everything by hand.

In a world full of mass production, who doesn’t want a unique piece to embellish their space?

Every handmade textile tells a different story. In the Peruvian Andes, natural dyeing and handweaving are guided by nature itself, from the plants used to create colour to the hands that patiently weave and embroider each thread. No shade, texture or stitch will ever be exactly the same, and that is what makes every piece unique.

Nature doesn’t repeat itself. Neither do handmade pieces.

We often admire the final piece without seeing the many processes behind it. In the Peruvian Andes, handweaving involves several traditional steps, one of them being the madejado, a technique used for centuries by pre-Columbian cultures to prepare yarn into skeins before dyeing or weaving.

Weaving is an art, and we love sharing the processes behind our pieces.

Have you ever wondered how long it takes to create one of our cushion covers?

Each piece takes around 20 days to come to life, from natural dyeing, to pedal loom weaving, to hand embroidery.

A patient process that carries ancestral knowledge,

proudly passed down through generations of resilient women.

A luxury worth having in your home.

Handwoven and hand-embroidered.

Creating a single piece takes up to 20 days, with natural dyeing being the most time-intensive stage. Handwoven on both the front and back, and finished with hand embroidery at its centre, our Offering cushion is conceived as an altar to the sacred flower of the Incas.

The Cantuta flower was used in rituals and ceremonies dedicated to the Sun God and Pachamama (Mother Earth), as an expression of gratitude for all that nature provides. Indigenous cultures have long shared a profound bond with nature.

We honour that bond through our natural dyeing processes, the fibres we choose, and the hands that bring our collection to life.
