I've narrowed my colour palette down to 3 colours - mainly calming blues, greens and neutrals which act as backdrop for patterns and splashes of colour which for me are pinks, wood and some antique gold accents. It's been a while since I've changed something and I think that's a good thing 😂! I have no drastic plans either - except to revive or replace some dead plants! What are your interior or exterior plans ?

Winter to spring transition life snaps. What I haven't shown you is the chaos in my house from washing 12 full loads of laundry in the last 3 days and the amounts of food I'm cooking because my son is back for Easter hols 😂 - I'm loving having all the kids home again. Incredibly grateful for our extended family holiday over Easter - what a contrast to our norm, but thankful for our day-to-day and the mundane, school / uni , London galleries, family and friends, our home and our life.

Over the past 22 years since we bought our first flat, we have moved 3 times within the same 1 mile radius! This meant whatever profit we made needed to be poured into the next property and more borrowing was needed to get a period home. But we have no regrets. We were fortunate to find ex-council properties which were in good nick inside - we just had to live in undesirable roads and exteriors until we were able to move to a better location and period property. It wasn't easy for us to get on the property ladder a couple of decades ago. We wouldn't have been able to do it without help from our Mums which made buying possible for us. It's good to look back and see how much we've done / how far we've come especially that's it's been a 12 year journey of experimenting with styles, colours and patterns and doing nearly everything DIY. We've made mistakes and changed our minds on many things but equally, we've learnt so much and discovered our own style along the way. I hope this inspires you to try things out, learn from mistakes and discover your personal style. 💗

Just upgraded my shower room with Sunset Bloom and Sea Mist 💗🤍 for the perfect colour pairing. Suri 2.0 is a whole new level with a travel case that not only cleans with UV light but holds charge as well. The new internal motor and charging base are also so much better. The new addition of the brush head cover is a such a smart idea. Love everything about especially the 6 stunning colours to choose from. Oh and did I mention the 30+ day battery life? 👋🤍💗

🙋🏻‍♀️ So this is me. My DIYs are never always straight nor perfect but they are safe. I've pretty much changed everything in my house so it works for us and feels like us. There are still things I want to update but no rush. Yesterday I felt the warmth of spring on my face again after many months of cold and weeks of rain. Last week I visited my boy at uni - it was so lovely to see him. This week my youngest has mocks so it's been an intense time of locking in. Last night I dyed my eldest's hair. Tomorrow I'm away with my husband for a few days. Since my Mum passed away, I've been learning to slow down, to saviour moments and times with loved ones and friends. Other things can wait. ❤️
