Some before and afters of my sitting room redecoration.

As you know, Ive recently moved house and although it’s modern, I want to turn the inside into something old and quirky…bit like me 😂

I put up coving and picture rail as well as repainting but my favourite bit is the beautiful wisteria wallpaper and the wonderful art deco fireplace I’ve made as a focal point.

I’ve used an old Edwardian window and added flower decal transfers to go above the sofa which I love too!

I wanted to share as I’m pretty proud of myself 😅.

Delphine is a singer. Night after night, she performs in the dark and atmospheric nightclubs along the back streets of Paris.

Her voice reminds weary customers of bygone days when soulful jazz music carried through the streets and glamorous Ladies and Gentlemen danced cheek to cheek in the dimly lit rooms.

Her feathers are rich and shining and styled to perfection and as La vie en rose rings out around the room, the customers cheer and smile before they slowly make their way home in the dark night.

Delphine is truly a marvel, have you heard her yet?

Made from 1930’s silk and satin fabric and antique lace, her feathers are antique millinery.
