Most of us don’t actually rest on our days off. We scroll, we half-watch something, we run through the week ahead in our heads. And then we wonder why we still feel exhausted.

Here’s why: your nervous system cannot tell the difference between a busy day at work and a busy day off. If your brain is still running, your body is still in stress mode. And that’s true whether it’s 9am or 9pm.
