Terrariums as Gifts & Christmas Presents

For anyone wanting a terrarium as a gift (or for yourself) between now and Christmas, please DM me before the end of October.

As plants tend to go into a stasis in the winter months, it will not be possible to create any more terrariums using new cuttings after this point with any degree of certainty that the plants will take to their new environment.

Established plants and terrariums will still grow during this period, but just at a slower rate.

Gordon's Gin Bottle Terrarium

This one looks much better in real life. The cool little designs on the glass add an extra something to the piece, but it doesn't lend itself well to photography.

Recycled Glass Jar Terrarium
Having a large open top allows for a lot more creativity and 'hardscape' features. This does mean that humidity (good for mosses and tropical plants) will be lost out of the top. To stop this, I ordered some clear acrylic discs and added some silicon pads to allow for some air flow.

The last of the year is on tomorrow and I've been lucky enough to get a space for their Christmas Market. Come and see me if you would like one yourself
