A Birthday Well Spent in Leigh

Birthdays are about celebrating, reflecting, and sometimes discovering something new. This year, mine was all about supporting a brilliant artist based in Leigh at whose work had already sparked my creativity in past conversations. The exhibition was successfully organised by

I still remember our chat at his studio, where ideas bounced between us like electricity. Seeing his exhibition was a completely different experience—raw, immersive, and beautifully charged with emotion. Every painting told a story, drawing you in, holding you there, making you feel something beyond just brushstrokes on a canvas.

The traction of the exhibition was undeniable—people were captivated, conversations flowed, and the atmosphere was a perfect blend of admiration and inspiration. Moments like these remind me why art matters.

Crafted for a beautiful family of five, Kinfolk is a bespoke alcohol unit that celebrates love, connection, and heritage.

The name says it all — Kinfolk is about family. A reminder that our homes hold stories, and our spaces should reflect the people we love most.

🌳 The brass structure forms a branching tree — symbolizing the strength of the parents who hold it all together.
🕊️ Three Moooi Perch lamps represent the children — glowing with individuality, yet gracefully connected.
🔵 Two bronze discs reflect the steady presence of the parents — grounding the entire design.
🎨 The cloud-washed backdrop mirrors the calm rhythm of family life.
🏛️ Marble cabinetry brings elegance, permanence, and a refined foundation.

This is more than a bar — it’s functional art, designed with meaning and made to last.

For this Airbnb communal space, we wanted to create a design that feels both immersive and expansive. The custom lattice lighting feature doesn’t just define the dining area—it visually extends upward to the rooftop, creating a sense of continuity and flow throughout the space.

By drawing the eye upwards, the design enhances the vertical dimension of the room, making the space feel more open while maintaining a warm and intimate atmosphere. The intricate latticework filters light beautifully, casting dynamic shadows that evolve throughout the day, bringing movement and energy to the space.

✨ I have a thing for bathrooms. ✨

Yes, you read that right! Bathrooms aren’t just functional spaces—they should be calm, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Whether it’s a luxury home or a brand-oriented commercial space, I always infuse Feng Shui and timeless design into my work.

💡 Recently, I visited Narita Airport in Tokyo, and its bathroom designs left me in awe. Crafted by , each space tells a story inspired by the four seasons. 🍂🌸❄️🌿 This is just one of them!

Trained in traditional design, I believe abstraction is key—and this project proves how impactful abstract design can be. The color scheme, textures, and details are simply remarkable.

As the Chinese proverb says, “It is more beneficial to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books.” This experience was a true masterclass in design!
