Sharing some stills from my latest co-created community art project. This has now been framed and delivered to its new home on Thursday this week. Not on the wall just yet, but here it is to show you. Everyone seems to love the fox! This is in a big new GP practice in Horwich and the building in my piece is Rivington Pike, which you can see up on the hill as you walk in the surgery doors. If you’ve never been it’s a beautiful spot for a walk. I’ll miss making this piece (despite the HOURS of work I put into it) and might have to set myself another project in the meantime!

On my sewing machine this morning. Love sewing these ombré thread blend butterflies and I’m especially loving these cool blues! This is my last day of sewing….my shoulders will be happy about that….this piece is off to the framers tomorrow and then I’ll deliver it to its new home in Horwich at the end of the month. I’ll show you the final piece when it’s framed.

Sharing a few flowers and a tree which I’ve been sewing recently. This is a commissioned work and is the largest textile piece I’ve made to date at 1m x 1.5m. As usual I vastly underestimate how long it’s actually going to take me! But I really enjoy and once I get into it I just want it to look a certain way and then all timeframes go out the window! This is for a new shiny GP practice in Horwich, outside Bolton and is co-created based on ideas put forward by local schoolchildren & adults.

Packing up some customer orders and thought I’d show you….coasters make an easy gift for colour loving friends and they also come in green and blue too. So no excuse for boring coffee tables! Oh and I have lots of colourful teatowels too. Link to website in bio!
