SOLO EXHIBITION - All welcome - 2- 6 July - in Margate - hope you can join me 🥰
I am so excited but also very nervous about this show. You can probably also see by the title that it already feels a bit more 'serious' and personal.
The last few years have been the most introspective of my life, a lot of re-examining the past and my identity in the aftermath of my parents death, so it is inevitable I will feel this way. I've already written and then deleted so much, feeling the weight of wanting to share more here and then pushing back and retreating.
So, I don't yet know how much I will be able to explain in writing, but maybe the title and the work that I choose and these couple of paragraphs will be enough for now.
And of course, things will be scribbly, messy and energetic and hopefully you'll just like some of the work for your own reasons with no need for my words...
