These sessions are always so gorgeous, i can't recommend coming and being in the energy of this amazing place enough. Order your lunch before the session and it'll be ready for when we're finished, have a sit in the beautiful gardens and have a wonder through the cloisters and the Great Nave. This incredible building runs through the same lay line as Stone Henge, it's so gorgeous. If you get the chance book onto the hidden in plain sight tour, it's pure magic!

Summer has fully arrived in the Feelgood / High Vibes world.

Festivals, retreats, workshops, community, creativity… and still making time for our regular crochet sessions too.

This week we had Mindful Crochet at the beautiful Gorton Monastery playing with granny squares, slowing down and having a good catch-up. Then at Feelgood Crochet Club at Make Good we made watermelons, bracelets, worked on ongoing projects and had lots of laughs along the way.

I’ll always say it… crochet and laughter are so good for us. They bring people together, calm busy minds, build confidence and create community. It’s never just about the yarn ❤️

I’ll also be pushing our fundraiser Watermelon Crochet Workshops over summer.
These sessions are helping raise money for families living in war-torn areas through All Our Relations, so every stitch really does mean something.

Now we’re off to the woods for the Sacred Heart Women’s Retreat and then onto a family holiday in Cornwall ❤️

The Laughter Rebellion is officially happening.

I applied for a grant with this simple idea:

“They want our fear… let’s give them laughter.”

And they said YES 💛

So over the next few months I’ll be using the funding to create:

Laughter Rebellion t-shirts

Tiny crochet ripple gifts

Pop-up laughter moments and acts of kindness

The idea is simple.

Spread laughter.

Spread connection.

Remind people they’re not alone.

Life can feel really heavy at times and this is my small rebellion against that.

Not by pretending everything’s fine. But by choosing joy, creativity and human connection anyway.

A smile. A laugh with a stranger. A tiny handmade gift. A moment where somebody feels seen.

Thank you so much to everyone who supports the strange and beautiful things we do through Feelgood Communities CIC and High Vibes Crochet.

These have been bubbling for a while.......a way to give back a little.

🍉 Crochet Watermelon Fundraiser Sessions 🍉

These sessions are going to be a little bit different..........we're coming together to crochet for a cause yay
Some are longer, where you can drop in and out as you fancy. You're welcome to bring your own crochet projects, come and work alongside others, have a brew.
If you’re brand new to crochet, I’ll go through the basics with you. If you already crochet and know the basics, I’ll have the watermelon patterns ready so we can create together for a really important cause.

Tickets are £20, and if anyone wants to donate extra they absolutely can, but there’s no pressure at all.

All profits will be going to All Our Relations, who are helping support families on the front line in war-torn areas.

I’ll also have crochet watermelon keyrings and badges available, with all profits from those going to the organisation we’re supporting too. 🍉

Creativity, connection and community really do matter.

Sometimes making something together is its own kind of medicine.

Mindful Crochet Workshop 🧶✨

Wednesday 27th May

This month we’ll be looking at granny squares!

We’ll cover the basics for beginners, work on a simple granny square, AND I’ll also be bringing the granny square deck along for anyone who wants to explore new patterns and expand their skills.

A lovely relaxed session to slow down, get creative, and enjoy some mindful stitching together.
