This Jacket is not only a work in progress but the best learning tool, as everything on it so far is my first time of doing it. I am obsessed!

What do you think? What would you like to learn?

This gorgeous dress was three sizes too big. It was a Vinted find and I just loved the gorgeous fabric so I had to have it.

Out came the sleeves and then I shortened the shoulders, cut it into a two piece and then realised the top was too short. So I added fabric to lengthen it.

I now have a gorgeous new outfit out of something I already owned.

What do we think? 🧡

I feel like I can’t quite find the right words for what the last few months have felt like, to be trusted with the creativity of over one hundred panels of textile art that belong to so many and hold their ideas in my hands and sew them into something whole.

This has definitely been a humbling and meaningful experience. Every piece that arrived carried someone’s time, care and a piece of themselves and I really felt that weight in the most beautiful way, every single day.

It has so so magical bringing a community together through thread and fabric, watching something grow from individual pieces into one living, breathing, wearable thing.

And last night, watching her walk into that room was an uber proud moment!

it has been an absolute privilege 🧡

Crocheting a top! Well that’s what I think I’m making 😂

Huge milestone this week, a lovely lady taught me how to join granny squares with a granny stitch and it’s a game changer.

Did I accidentally put the inside on the outside? Of course I did! Do I care? No, because this is what learning looks like and I’m choosing to call it a happy accident and progress not perfection. Who’s with me?
