I’ve been meaning to make these for a while now they have took an age to dry out. Mullein witch’s torches! I dressed them with rosemary and lavender oils, rose petals, lilac, and rowan berries all home grown and hand prepared. Made them with the intention of protection, cleansing, and quiet ritual, each one carries the steady, guiding energy of mullein — a plant long associated with light in dark places.

Known in folklore as Hag’s Taper, mullein was traditionally dried and burned as a torch to ward off spirits and guide travelers safely through the night. It was believed to both protect against and be used within witchcraft, making it a powerful addition to my craft.
