I used to think “quick and cheerful” was the way to go.

But the pieces I’m most proud of are the ones where I slow down...

where the finish matters,

where the materials feel special,

where every little detail is intentional.

That’s the direction I’m leaning into now ✨

I’ve been reworking what I want this space to be... and it started with a proper desk reset.

Some past makes that taught me a lot.

Some new fabrics that feel much more me.

It’s funny how clarity sometimes begins with simply tidying up.

Tonight is the Wolf Moon

It marks the deep heart of winter which is fitting as we have snow today❄️

It's a time associated with
🌕 resilience
🌕 protection
🌕 community

Named for the wolves once heard howling outside villages, it symbolises staying connected, trusting instinct, and finding strength together during the quietest part of the year.

This New Year moment invites us to turn inward, rest, and move at a slower pace... which all makes for the perfect time to return to quiet, comforting crafts ✨

Are there any old sewing or creative projects you’re feeling drawn to pick back up this season? 🧵🤍

I am waiting on the postie who has a bundle of new fabrics for me to complete some Sailor Jerry inspired hoops ... but more of that later.

Often seen as a gentle messenger, robins are said to appear when we need reassurance... a quiet reminder that we’re never truly alone.

This is why I love using symbols like this in my handmade pieces... they turn simple gifts into something meaningful 💛

A range of bookmarks to keep your pages safe .. crow, hare, moon and it wouldn't be Christmas without a Robin or two ✨

The fabric Christmas trees are perfect to adorn your tree BUT I add a label to them and send as alternatives to Christmas cards.
