As my 4th Christmas making knives rolls round the corner, I think back to when I first started. Asking for old circular saw blades from carpenters to practice on, forging and heat treating on an old barbeque then hand filing the bevels.
My first Christmas I did a give away competition to help get my name out there and showing people what I could do, here I am today with a long list of happy returning customers and full books.... But remembering that buzz I got from giving someone their free knife at Christmas and wanted to do that again.
