KC00005. Pair of vintage mitre cornered display cabinets
Wonderfully rare survivors of the retail display era of the 1920's. This pair of vintage mitre cornered display cabinets offers 360 degree glazing giving the perfect vista from all angles with hinged door on each. Came form a jewellers originally but would sit quite comfortably in any retail environment complimenting greatly whatever wares one was looking to display and showcase. Bronzed brass framework encases the mahogany finished joinery. Finished off internally with brass and iron hardware, glazed shelves and a mirrored base for extra visual impact. Were originally lit but this has been removed, very easy to replace with a much better LED option.

Originally would have been a fountain head. Wonderfully aged patination. Aged brass lamp holder stem. Scrolling acanthus leaf relief detailing sitting cleanly on a raised circular base. Now professionally converted to a table lamp. Rewired and PAT tested. Circa 1880.
