Yet again...spooky face in the scarf. This one is merino & silk laid out onto hand dyed silk. Watered it with soapy water ready for rolling and...there it is! Two big red eyes and a grinning mouth.
Oh well. Hopefully someone will love it enough to buy it on Sunday.

At St Fagans today & tomorrow! All set up now and taking the opportunity to make a couple of table lamps. Guess who forgot to pack a box of yarn though? Oops. There's still a fair bit of woolly goodness, just not as much as usual.

Now £225. Collect from Monmouth for next few days, but then i'll be moving it to Llanarth. Anyone looking for a slatwal...

Anyone looking for a slatwall display stand?
Mine doesn't fit in my new space, unfortunately. Less than a year old, no dings or scratches. Rustic Oak finish, 2 x 30cm deep shelves with around 15 (?) hooks. Stands at just over 2m high, consists of the base and 2 panels of 1m x 1m.
It looks nice, but is too heavy for me to lug around to markets.

Gearing up for my next event with St Fagans Makers Market, i'll be there on the 27th & 28th August. It may be a month away, but the process of getting undyed hanks to nicely coiled and labelled skeins takes quite a while!

Lots to catch up on, as i've been locked out of my FB account and Messenger for months! Hopefully all sorted now...
Anyway. Lots of changes. No more shop, as it unfortunately wasn't suitable for what I wanted it for. Therefore, back to working from home and selling yarn at markets - I'll be back at St Fagans on 27th & 28th August. I need to get some new stock made up, and hope to get the website up and running once I have yarn ready to sell.
I appear to have lots of messages to respond to, so will get around to those in due course.

Last market for me until Christmas, so i'll be taking along a lot of yarn!
The new yarns will be the usual price of £14 each, with sale yarn at £9.
Then, there will be the yarn that's been hanging around for a while but has never made it to re-skeining and labelling - i'll have a good idea of what it is, but can't be 100% (especially when it comes to 100% BFL 4 ply or BFL sock with 15% nylon), so that'll be £4 per 100g.
And finally? A tub of skeins that i've basically looked at, seen the tangles and put it back. That'll be free! Yep, free yarn! Complete with tangles.

Yesterday's issue with the knitting machine knocked my prep for Saturday's market out of whack, so no shop today either. On the plus side, there will be quite a lot of yarn on offer on Saturday for £4 a cake - all 100% wool (with a smidge of nylon for the sock) that's been lurking in my stash since last year.
No shop today (Wednesday), technical difficulties with the knitting machine which haven't been fixed by swearing at it.
