A big thanks to Ironpress Printmaking for being a part of this year's event and holding an open studios throughout the week ❤️ giving people the opportunity to step inside a working print studios and chat with the artists and find out all about how printmaking works!

A special thanks to .g.sloan Jenny Mccabe and Julie Evans Printmaker for helping make this happen and being so supportive of the Art Fair throughout the years as well! They are all amazing tutors and if you fancy trying out a bit of printmaking yourself then there are courses and workshops available on their website, just search Iron Press Printmaking and take a look 👀👀

We had an amazing time at Lancaster Art Fair 2026 ❤️ thanks to for these amazing shots capturing our final day!

We had fantastic workshops by and

had their open studios where they had been inviting people along all week to come and see inside a working print studio and have a chat

We had our lovely down for our Makers Market as well 🥰 all alongside the final day our our main exhibition. This year was our busiest year by far so thanks so much to everyone who came down and made it happen, took part and added to the atmosphere ❤️🙌 our community are what it is all about and it was so great to see everyone chatting with the artists, making and creating and just getting involved! We couldn't do it without you all!

📃🏢Paper Cities

This summer Lancaster Art Fair artists and developed a project together for a heritage summer programme with brilliant youth charity

The project is called Paper Cities and consisted of a series of 5 workshops exploring Lancaster's architecture combining drawing, printmaking to constructing lanterns inspired by Lancaster's architecture!

It was a really fun week with the young people who made fantastic and fun lanterns inspired by arches, doorways skeletons and chip shops! Come along and see the lanterns at on the 29th August! 11-4.00pm
You can have a go at making your own lanterns too! 💡

Dalton Square has Escape 2 Make's heritage festival on too, so don't forget to check it out! 😎

Big news!!! Due to the poor weather forecast tomorrow all of our Saturday are now running INSIDE the Storey 😁 they will be on the top floor just along from the Gallery and Makers Market so come down, dry off and get creative ❤️

It's the last day of our exhibition tomorrow and we will be running our makers market with a huge 21 artists bringing their work to tempt you 😍 so if you haven't managed to visit us yet make sure you make a trip tomorrow for our biggest day!

As we reach the halfway point in our exhibition are you curious to see which artworks have sold from the wall? What amazing pieces have found their forever home ❤️ .... Or what pieces you may have missed out on!

This is not counting all of the prints and framed pieces that we have available on our table displays.... So if there is anything you have had your eye on, that you have been considering, make sure you pop down before the week is up! Our last day is Saturday the 29th when we will also be running our makers market with an extra 21 artists to tempt you 👀👀
