Blind Maker & Fitter – Self Employed Position
Location: Surrey Blind & Curtain Co. Ltd, CR0 9UG
Rate: £90 per day starting salary
Start: Immediate
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm - part time happily considered
We are seeking a practical, reliable individual to join our team as a Blind Maker & Fitter. No previous experience is required — full training will be provided — but an affinity for handling tools and a willingness to learn are essential.
⭐ What the role involves
• Manufacturing a variety of bespoke blinds in our New Addington factory
• Assisting our fitters on installation sites across London and the South East when required
• Working alongside experienced team members who will teach you all aspects of the trade
• A paid trial day will be expected
⭐ Requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Own transport
• Comfortable using tools and learning new practical skills
• Self employed status (guidance available if needed)

We were so saddened to hear of the closure of Coughlans Bakery this week, after 89 years. Another small business lost to today's economic pressures.
It's a reminder of how important it is to shop local and support the independents to keep our communities alive.
As a third-generation family business celebrating our 50th year, we feel this loss deeply.
Sending our thoughts to all the management and staff at each of the 31 Coughlans stores.

 Proud to Support the Pop In Centre for the Elderly in New Addington
As we celebrate our 50th year in business, we are especially proud to continue supporting the community that has supported us for so many decades. This month, we were delighted to donate £500 to the Pop In Centre for the elderly in New Addington, a non‑profit charity that provides a vital meeting place and support network for older residents in our local area.
The team at the Pop In Centre were thrilled to receive the donation, and we are equally proud to play a small part in helping them continue their wonderful work.
