Slightly warm in my shed today (forgot to check the temperature until I was finished at 4.15, it was 37 degrees then) 😅 so I just did a few easy and simple butter knives, ready for my stall at Winthorpe summer festival on Saturday 27th of June, 1 - 5pm

2 shallow bowls made today from Elm wood, 285mm and 270mm diameter. And I had a visitor joined me in the shed today, first time he's managed to climb up the step to get in there 😂 Not sure how he did it 🤷‍♂️ These bowls are available to purchase now, just message me, or will be on my stall at Winthorpe, near Newark, summer festival on Saturday 27th of June, 1pm to 5pm

Back from my short break, and straight back into the shed to get some more stock made ready for my upcoming craft fairs, starting on Saturday 20th of June at Lichfield. Not in the Guildhall this time as it's having repairs done, but at St Mary's, which is only about 50 yards away, in the market place. A small Yew , natural edge bowl, and then some Yew wood apples and pears, which I haven't made any of these for a couple of years. If you would like to purchase any of these, or any of my other items, please message me.

Just a quick thank you to everyone that has been to see me recently at craft fairs, and especially to those that have made a purchase. I am now taking a short break, but will be back at my next craft fair in Lichfield on 20th of June. See you soon.

Just one small bowl made today for my stall at East Markham craft and produce fair on June 6th. A pretty yew bowl with natural edge. Then I made a few commission pieces for a lady who wanted wooden cotton reels to replace her plastic ones. These are quite fiddly to make as they are only 20mm in diameter, 12mm wide.

A couple more items made ready for East Markham craft and produce fair on June 6th. Another nutmeg grater, and then a small, but very pretty Elm burr and resin, natural edge bowl. Take a look at the last picture for the mess that resin makes when you turn it. I thought I had a massive spider in there with me 😂😂

Another 2 sets of salt and pepper grinders made today, ready for East Markham craft fair on June 6th. These are probably some of the best pieces of wood that I have seen. Amazing grain and colours, the Staghorn even changes colour when you move it in the light. If you are interested in purchasing these, or any of my other items, please feel free to message me, or come along on Saturday to have a look, and see all the other makers there.
