As I am still away on my short break, I thought I would just give you a quick update on my upcoming events for September.
19th, Collingham show, I will be in the craft marquee
20th, Oakham food and drink festival, I will be in Oakham castle
24th, Flintham show, more details to follow when I get them
26th, Southwell show, more details to follow when I get them.

2 cereal size bowls made today out of the same piece of Oak. These are the last items that I will be making for the time being as I am going away for a short break. The next fair that I will be attending with my stall is at Collingham show on September 19th. Hope to see you there.

Another set of Salt and Pepper grinders made today, Oak and Sapele laminated at a 45 degree angle to give the stripe effect. Then I made a couple of stand alone Pepper grinders, the one on the left is African Rosewood, the other one is Oak. These can also be used for grinding dried herbs or spices. Just message me if you'd like to purchase any of my items.

I made a salt and pepper set and a bowl today, all with pieces of Sapele and Oak that I glued up yesterday. I think they worked out ok, certainly a bit different to just single pieces of wood. Two more of the All in One salt shaker / pepper grinders made today, Beech and Collingham church yard Yew. I didn't notice until I put them on the kitchen table that they look a bit like lighthouses. Back to making Salt and Pepper grinders today, this set is made using Cherry. Then I made a pepper grinder on its own using Tambootie. Not everyone wants salt these days, so I always have a couple made on their own in case that's what you want. They can also be used for grinding dried herbs or spices.
