Just dropped these off Fiona Dane

What a wonderful little gallery shop in Craster. Some fabulous work and Fionsa makes some gorgeous jewellery. We had a lovely chat, if you're ever in Craster it's definitely a must.

About 16 years ago a group of us set up a CIC called Hive Arts, we had funding to raise awareness of pollinators and their significance in supporting our ecology and food production. We started to create a corridor accross Newcasyle and worked with community groups, the elderly and children on creative projects and planting.

Still here, same message, still creating, still planting. We can all have a part in this.... Just a plant pot with flowers or plants to help support our pollinators 🌞🌿 lets rewild our outdoor spaces

I've been doing quite a lot of nurdling recently, after finding out about the environmental disaster which occured in the river tyne several weeks ago.

I started seeing little white dots and was inspired to make a mug with the little fe*kers caught in tricky places. This is WIP but is a fair representation, it's going to be a neverending job but if we all chip away every nurdle brushed, scooped or picked up is a win for our wildlife and environment.

Big up to all the nurdlers out there, absolute legends doing a fabulous job ⚪⚪
