Too cold & tired, too hot & bothered!
I’ve definitely been using these excuses for the lack of motivation I’ve had with my art recently. I don’t know why I put pressure on myself that I need to constantly be making work. It’s definitely easier to keep up a continuous flow but lately I’ve not been in the right mindset to get creative.
Usually it’s a lack of inspiration when I feel like this but I have so many ideas I’m just struggling to feel in the mood.

I think it’s so important to ‘celebrate’ small wins. I have a more positive mindset when I recognise progress and it helps reduce my stress levels.
It’s a great motivation for my art and day to day challenges. I’ve learnt that something is always better than nothing.
I created a series around this and named it ‘Celebration’
There is now a total of six paintings in the collection. 🥰
