I always get asked if I find it tricky to draw portraits and the short answer is no when you’ve got a brain that notices the little things. You know when you meet someone with a heart of pure gold that it’s impossible not to smile when you’re around them, Shelly’s a real angel in human form and I just love the love that she has for all animals (especially her gorgeous pup pip) so naturally this was one of the easiest portraits I could’ve ever painted 🌸

I’ve been toying with the idea of postcard/greetings card portraits for a while for when you just want a little but very thoughtful present 👀 let me know your thoughts below 🐞

Handmade Christmas 🎄

Times are hard for so many people this festive season so I thought I’d share a cheap and easy christmas craft to do this winter (they’d make really cute gift tags too) I have SO many ideas for inexpensive crafts that I’m tempted to start a little series or make a little zine with! It’s also a really good way to reuse packaging ♻️

All you need is:

📦 Any cardboard packaging (supermarkets often have boxes going spare)
🖍️ A white pen/white pencil crayon/white paint
✂️ Scissors to cut the cardboard
🪡 Needle and thread/wool to attach their hands together and make a garland
✏️ A pencil to poke the holes

Let me know if you’d like to see any more crafty ideas 🎄
