Meet Willum, our Merchant of the Deep Wood. 🌲

Every dungeon crawl starts with stocking up before you head out, and Willum is the guy to see.

Rope? Check. Armour? Check. Legendary swords? We have a ton. If you need it for your next adventure, this hairy fellow probably has it tucked away somewhere.

This is one of the pages from our interactive D&D book for toddlers, coming in 2027! The Tale of the Great Stone Serpent: Learn to Crawl Like a Hero ©

Pull tabs, flaps, hidden details and plenty of nerdy references. We've had so much fun cramming every page with little things to discover. (We have had a lot of reaseach reading our boy books I've the last 18months!).

It's going to be perfect for adults… cough I mean, toddlers.

More previews coming soon! Would love to hear what you think!

Drop us a comment/message. if you fancy helping us with a test read over the next few months! 🧙‍♂️🧙⚔️

ANOTHER MONSTER HAS ENTERED THE FORGE. 👹

Artist Forge × Brock Hofer Brock Hofer

We’re ridiculously excited to welcome Brock Hofer to Artist Forge. Sometimes you just need a big gnarly ass dinosaur in your life.

Based on the east coast of Canada, Brock is a full-time illustrator known for creating some seriously wild, colourful monsters. 🐉🌈 We have test printed this design and it comes out soooooo clean and sharp ... literally.

We’ve taken Brock’s artwork and turned it into a 24" × 14" playmat, ready for your next game of MTG or TCG.
2mm thick • Hemmed edges • Built to last.

WE’RE AT NOR-CON! 🎉

Our first ever Comic-Con, right here in our home city of Norwich! ⚔️

We’ve brought along a collection of playmats from some of the epic artists we’re lucky enough to work with, and some of our own designs too.

We just wanted to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who follows and supports us. ❤️ It really means a lot.

Holden Print House has grown so much beyond what we ever expected, and getting to bring it all to a Comic-Con in our own town feels like a pretty special milestone.

This place is already looking pretty epic… 👀

More videos coming over the next few days.

Crafted by nerds. For nerds.

A little photo dump from the summer of crafting nerd goods 📸
It’s been a busy few weeks. So thank you for the support as always. 🧙🧙‍♂️🍻

Printing, designing, shipping… and generally having playmats absolutely everywhere.

Here’s a little glimpse of what’s been going on behind the scenes at Holden Print House. We’ve also got two board books designed by us on the way — one LOTR and one D&D (In development). 👀 We may have a 100% original card game in the pipeline 😎.

And the last pic? A little sneak preview of a drop coming this Friday… 👀

We’re very excited about this one and out drop later today by Jean

Tolkien fans!! 🧙‍♂️🌿

If you want your fellow MTG players to know that you've watched all of the extended cuts. Or you just want to vibe out your desk. This one is for you.

We're so excited to finally share our latest Artist Forge collaboration with the incredibly talented Louie Maryon.

The Great Goblin feels like a page rescued from an old scholar's archive. Scribbled observations. Creature studies. Strange symbols. Fragments of forgotten lore. So much work has gone into making this feel like a genuine artefact from The Wizard archives.

It's the kind of playmat people stop to read and you will still be discovering months later. It's ideal for those long commander games when people take 25 minutes per turn. *Cough* blue players. *Cough*

As an Artist Forge collab , this directly supports real artists making original fantasy art.

We would love to turn this into a series. If so, what creature or character should we do next? Smaug maybe?? 🧙‍♂️

We caved! 👹

Saw a lonely Marvel Collector Booster in town and figured one pack wouldn't hurt.

Let's see if we instantly regret it.

Comic-style full arts kinda look noice.
The full-art lands... 3/10. 🧙‍♂️

What do you think about Universes Beyond? Is Marvel a good fit for Magic, or not? Are we just cooked with Marvel?

Not every hero starts with a sword.

Some start with a goblin, a questionable plan, and a dragon that definitely should have been left alone.

Like many goblin players, we didn't get the Secret Lair we were hoping for. We were sad.

So we did what any self-respecting goblin would do...

We made our own.

This slightly unhinged goblin & dragon playmat was born from equal parts disappointment, stubbornness, and a complete disregard for consequences.

We don't want fantasy approved by a committee. We want fantasy discovered in a damp dungeon.

This is the first piece in our new Dark Art Wizardry series.

More weirdness is coming.

We spend most of our time making things. 🧙‍♂️🧙

Books. Playmats. Artwork. Designs.

This time, we got to mess around with a real camera. On film, no less.

A few frames from a recent film photography session with my dad, shot indoors on a Canon AE-1 with flash. We really are a family-run business from start to finish.

Some of the photos, some of the setup, and a little glimpse behind the scenes of Holden Print House.

Featuring me, Mark, and Luna.

More from the roll soon. 📸
