To move or not to move?

For months, we thought the answer was obvious. Bigger space. A fresh start. The next step. So we scrolled. We saved. We booked viewings. But something didn’t feel quite right. Every time we walked into another house, I found myself comparing it to home. And every time we came back… I felt relief. I started to realise… I didn’t actually want to leave.

There is a constant pressure to upgrade, to move, to do more.
But we’ve realised something important:
What we have is enough.
So we’re staying.
And instead of chasing something new, we’re choosing to finish what we started. To put love into the spaces we already have. To make this home even more ours.
Sometimes the next step isn’t moving forward.
It’s standing still — and seeing things differently.

Bedroom Transformation ✨ It has been 5 years since we decorated our bedroom. We still love the colour and have no regrets about colour drenching. Looking back, it was worth all the months of waiting and searching for the right pieces of vintage furniture. The only thing that will change in this space is that the blinds will soon be replaced with curtains. This is the space that brings us a feeling of calm after a busy day. X

Client Project – ✨

When my client shared their vision for , the goal was clear: create spaces that feel calm, restorative, and effortlessly luxurious.

In just over two months, I had the pleasure of designing the reception area, café, and several client lounges — each thoughtfully curated to balance comfort with understated elegance.

This project was a true collaboration, and I’m so grateful to have worked alongside such an incredible team to bring it to life.

The Little Things ❤️ I’m taking pleasure in the little day-to-day things at the moment. I’m enjoying cooking nice meals to enjoy with the boys after school, I’m baking often, I have finally got into a good gym routine, I have been going most days, granted I’m totally motivated by using the sauna afterwards! I’m enjoying being present and am focused on making each day as positive as it can be. This has meant that I’m online a little less but I’m working on finding the right balance! I hope you are having a good week. X

The highlight of the week has most certainly been the beautiful sunshine! Everything just feels better when it’s sunny, doesn’t it?! These are a few photos from my week:
- New decor in my son’s bedroom
- The vintage bedside table I painted for my son
- New lampshade for my son’s bedroom
- New pendant shade
- Love a toy storage basket
- This one has absolutely loved the sunshine
- My husband and I had a wonderful dinner with good friends last night
- Sunday morning treats with the boys
