Tonight I went to class.

Beautiful rainbow as I arrived at 🌈

For another great Art class with

We made our own print screens. I've started spooky season a little early and made a cute little ghostie. 👻🩷

This was very satisfying to make and do and the buzz from the results were great. Check the video.

Did anyone ever get famous for painting, underpaintings?

My first underpainting, once this is dry I plan to do another underpainting, to add a little more depth and shading and to straighten up some lines. I will then build this up from there starting darker on some areas and lighter in others. I have no idea where this will go, trust the process.

I'm sure I will go through the love and hate stages, but it's nice to be back painting.

Hello! 👋

I'm back!! Sort of.... 😅

It's been a long time since I've done any large paintings, I've done a few bits here and there but nothing big. My hobby of painting was replaced with my love for Aerial hoop. Check out my hoop page

Recently I've been travelling and exploring Cornwall, Dorset and Guernsey and have been inspired by a huge mix of art work around these places. Along with many seaside visits.

Today I went for a lovely stroll this morning around one of my favourite local places Coombe abbey country park. I took a few pictures of my favourite spots. I've done a few little sketches and now plan to paint one of these sketches using a mix of colours and with a contemporary/abstract style, like some of the artwork I have seen on my travels.
