Designed a few years ago. Still looking just as good today 🤍

One from the archives, but a project I’ve always loved. Rich textures, beautiful bespoke cabinetry, tailored upholstery and a carefully layered palette. Every detail was considered to create a space that felt both sophisticated and comfortable. For me, good design has never been about following trends. It’s about creating interiors that stand the test of time.

And this is exactly why ✨

Life lately 🤎….If my camera roll is anything to go by… a little bit of everything 😂
Somewhere between the school runs, children’s commitments, site visits, studio days, client meetings and trying to remember where everyone needs to be at what time, life has been pretty full lately.
Some weeks I feel like I’m absolutely nailing the juggle. Others… definitely not 😂
But looking back through these, there’s actually an awful lot to be grateful for.
New clients coming on board, exciting projects getting underway, others finally starting to come together after months of work, lots of time on site and some brilliant days in the studio with the team.
We even managed to squeeze in an awards ceremony and honoured to come home with the award 🏆🤎 Still incredibly proud of that one, and so grateful to everyone who supported us along the way.
Then straight back to normal life. Work. Kids. Family. Gym. And apparently occasionally being zipped into a giant carbon dioxide suit and cutting the grass for good measure 😂

Busy. Slightly chaotic. Very grateful.

To have our work recognised on an international stage amongst this community and in such a milestone year for the awards, makes this one feel even more special.

A huge thank you to the team behind the awards, everyone who voted, our incredible clients who trusted us with their home, and every craftsman, supplier and member of our team who helped us bring this project to life.

🏆 WE ONLY BLOODY WENT AND WON! Honestly beyond chuffed. Buzzing for our team! They work non stop with me to make everything happen and create the most beautiful interiors for our lovely clients. In a room full of exceptional talent, this is such an incredible award to win for our studio. To everyone that voted and everyone that has been there for the ride, I couldn’t have done it without you. To my family for putting up with my non stop work, you’re the best! We shared the night with the gorgeous Sylka Carpets family, truly a dream boat, thank you. Now back to the studio doing what we love. Much love. Vxx❤️ design et al

Good design isn’t about following what’s fashionable. It’s about making the right decisions from the start. For me, a beautifully designed home should feel connected. Each room can have its own identity, but there should be a thread that runs through the entire house. Lighting should never be an afterthought. It changes how we experience a space which is why we consider everything from architectural and ambient lighting to task and decorative lighting as part of the design from the outset. And trends? I’d rather create something that still feels beautiful in ten years than something that instantly tells you which year it was designed.

That’s what timeless design means to me. Not playing it safe. Not avoiding personality. Simply creating a home that has longevity. If you’re planning a renovation, save this before you start making those big design decisions.

And tell me, which of the three do you think people get wrong most often…flow, lighting or trends?

Because first impressions matter. A hallway is more than a transition space, it’s the opening chapter of a home’s story. From the sweeping stone staircase and bespoke iron balustrades to the handcrafted panelling, statement lighting and tailored upholstery, every detail was carefully considered to create a sense of understated luxury. Designed to make an impression, yet grounded in warmth and comfort, this entrance sets the tone for the beautiful family home beyond. This is truly a welcome that feels every bit as special as the spaces it leads to. This is our signature style, timeless, elegant and unforgettable.

When your first born turns 10 💙🥹. For sure worthy of a place on the grid. It’s been a whirlwind 10 years, I can’t believe where the time has gone. The ultimate honour being your mummy, James. You changed life like I could never imagine. Flipped the meaning of unconditional love to new heights and taught me a love like no other. Parenting is no easy task and where’s the bloody rule book when you need it! Such a kind and thoughtful son and brother whose endless energy never fails to surprise me, I wonder where you get that from! So proud of the little man you’ve become and your swimming achievements are next level! Qualifying in multiple strokes at the age of 9 for Kent County 10-11 age group is bloody amazing. You deserve all the opportunities swimming has to provide, you sacrifice so much to swim everyday and we couldn’t be more proud of your work ethic. Feeling so emotional at how life is speeding on by 🥹. Happy birthday handsome, love you so much 🥰

One of the things that makes a home feel truly considered is the transition between spaces. Each room should have its own personality but there needs to be a common thread running throughout the home. In this project rich walnut joinery, layered lighting and a warm neutral palette create continuity, while each space still tells its own story. It’s the balance between consistency and individuality that makes a house feel effortlessly connected. I like to think the best interiors don’t stop at the doorway.
