We’re hiring! 🔪

Tayos is looking for a skilled Butcher to join our team in Orpington.

You’ll be preparing, cutting and presenting quality meat for our customers, keeping our counter fresh and well displayed, and helping families find exactly what they need for their next meal.

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Experience working as a butcher
✔️ Knowledge of Afro-Caribbean foods
✔️ A friendly team player who enjoys serving customers
✔️ Available 3 to 4 days a week, including Saturday to Monday

Building Tayos’ has taught me a lot about business… and confirmed a few things about myself 😂. Some things I don’t think I would never do
1. Say “it’s not about the money.”
It’s not juuuust about the money. But let’s not pretend it isn’t part of it. 😂
2. Make being busy and exhausted my normal 4eva.
I can’t lie, it’s been mad. Currently working on this one… 😅 It’s tough not to keep going when there’s always more to do, but I want to achieve big things ANDDD I want good health, a life and the time to actually enjoy it. That’s the goal.
3. Build something I don’t genuinely care about just for the gram, the title or to say I have a business. Not me mate.
If I’m going to be this gung ho, it berra be for something I actually believe in.

An afternoon of inspiration, conversation and possibility 💫
We welcomed a group of young people to Tayos’ for a work experience afternoon, giving them the chance to hear from professionals across different industries, ask questions and explore where their own journeys could take them.
At Tayos’, community goes beyond the aisles. It’s about creating opportunities, sharing knowledge and investing in the next generation. ❤️
