Kelly Lygo Tombs

💚 Wegovy Update — 29th August 2026 💉⚖️

Well… it's weigh-in & jab day again, and I'm going to be completely honest.

I STILL haven't got a reliable weight! 🤦‍♀️😂

Those bloody scales are continuing to play games, so rather than keep jumping on and getting completely different numbers, I've decided to keep my chart at 19 st 9 lb (275 lbs) for now.

And do you know what?

I've had a little wobble today because I honestly don't feel like I've lost that much. 😔

But then I looked at my progress photos.

5th July → 29th August

And actually… I CAN see changes. ❤️

My clothes are telling me too.

My PJs are getting too big.
My leggings are getting baggy.
I've had to buy smaller clothes.

So maybe I need to stop letting a dodgy set of scales mess with my head! 😂

When I started Wegovy on 13th April, I was 22 st 3 lb (311 lbs).

I'm currently using 19 st 9 lb (275 lbs) as my chart weight.

That's 36 lbs down. 😳❤️

THIRTY-SIX POUNDS.

And yet sometimes I still look in the mirror and think, "I don't look any different."

I think that's one of the hardest things about losing weight — you see yourself every single day, so you don't always notice the gradual changes.

But these photos remind me that something IS happening.

Today I've also had my last 1mg injection from this pen 💉

I've chosen to stay on 1mg for this pen because I've been struggling with constipation, and I'll be speaking with my prescriber about moving up to 1.7mg when appropriate.

I'm not going to pretend this journey is easy.

I'm not going to pretend every week is a huge loss.

And I'm definitely not going to fake a number just because it looks better.

This is my real journey.

The good weeks.
The frustrating weeks.
The dodgy scales. 😂
The clothes getting bigger.
The confidence slowly coming back.

And even when I can't see it myself…

I'm going to trust the evidence. ❤️

Still going.
