💥 Fine Jewellery and Cabochon Rings pre-orders open TOMORROW at 6pm UK time (BST) for 9 days💥

Hello all. I will be opening the pre-orders for all fine jewellery and some new cabochon ring designs on my website tomorrow. The algorithm currently doesn’t like me so if you missed my last post, the woman with skulls and the charm spacers will all be available alongside older designs. This will be the last pre-order before Christmas and I will do my utmost to get these orders to you before the big day, so if you’re looking for gifts then now is your chance! The pre-orders will be open until midnight BST on Sunday 11th October.

I’m out of words for the way I feel about the current state of the world sh*tshow so jewellery will have to do.

You will have heard of the Cornell 7 by now unless you are living under a rock. And unless you are a monster you are no doubt raging about it. There are plenty of people who are articulating, much better than I can, the fury that I feel about these (latest in an infinite list of) crimes. And not only am I furious about the seven who are accused, but the FIFTY other men in that group chat who stood by and let it happen. I am beyond rage and devastation. I am INCANDESCENT.

It’s time to rise up, women and allies. I don’t know what to do - I feel so powerless - but I’ve had enough. I want to scalp and behead all the men and collect their skulls but that’s not terribly practical. What should we do, friends?

I showed you these charm spacer beads at the beginning of the summer but I’m only just now getting round to getting the whole collection ready to launch. Oops! I described them as ‘Pandora for bad people’ and I think that’s the perfect description! 🤣 They can be worn on a necklace to add a little breathing space between charms, or they can be worn alone or as a collection on a chain, cord or bracelet. In the first image I put them on a 4.6mm bracelet. In the second picture they are on an _actual_ Pandora bracelet - so you can see that they do mostly fit! They vary in size, but only the square bead with the faces is a little too small - when I list them in the shop there will be detailed measurements! I will also be adding the much anticipated ‘woman with skulls’ charm to the shop.

When, you ask?! Well, tomorrow I’m off to Albania for a week, so it’ll probably be in early October. Please sign up for emails via my website for notifications. Porcelain jewellery will also follow in October! Eep!

I’ve made some tiny new charms that are much smaller than my normal ones - these are between 9 and 12mm in size and I’m kind of obsessed with how cute they are. Swipe to see them all!

Happy Summer, lovely friends🌞❤️ My kids are officially on holiday and I’m frantically trying to finish stuff before I stop working in August. I am going to be opening the fine jewellery orders again in the next few weeks, with the new charm spacers and lady with skulls. In the meantime I’m busy painting more pendants and rings for a shop update in early August! So it’s very busy here and I’m ready for another break, but good things are coming before I allow myself a rest.

Well, I have been failing to win my ‘did not cry’ rosette lately.

I was cooking lunch the other day and just broke down in tears because I am constantly feeling like I am running out of time. I know I have a wonderful, privileged life, but my goodness I am being FLOORED at the moment by this nagging anxiety. I know it’s probably perimenopause and the worldwide sh*tshow combined, but I am struggling. I could cry every day because it feels like life is passing me by but I don’t quite know how to change things.

Sometimes I desperately need to get off the treadmill, but most of the time I feel like I need to keep running faster just to keep up.

Basically I think I’m having a mid-life crisis and it is decidedly un-fun. Should I buy a sports car? Or what is the women’s equivalent? (Always turn to humour in times of crisis…)

(The other slides show work in progress that I hope to release for pre-sale in May. Staying on that treadmill!)
