I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break 🐣🌷

I spent part of it putting this reel together… another millennial having a Gen Z moment for the gram 🥲 although she came out cute 🥰✨

This was for styling before a photoshoot… about 40 minutes of styling turned into a 6 second reel 😮‍💨

Layering is one of the most important tools in interiors, and something I focus on a lot! It’s what makes a space feel complete 🍒

It’s the mix of heights, textures, colours.. books stacked just right, something organic and something a bit unexpected 💃🏻 The kind of details you don’t always notice straight away, but you’d definitely feel if they were missing…

Good styling feels effortless, even after moving everything 20 times 🙂‍↔️✨

Living in a rental means working with what we have for the time being, so we’ve curated, layered and rearranged (about a thousand times 🥲) making it ours, even if it’s temporary 🤸🏻‍♀️

At my Ealing project, completed last summer, the intention for the living room was to feel eclectic and softly layered. Working with the home’s existing alcoves on either side of the fireplace, we made good the walls, wrapping them in ‘s ‘Hamilton’ and we retained the original hearth.

With beautiful natural light flooding the space, we chose a soft, nature-inspired palette to keep things calm and uplifting, then introduced a few punchy tones, with orange hues drawn from the fireplace tiles, alongside plenty of texture and the clients’ many collected pieces to give the room its lived-in, soulful personality ✨🧡
