A Place In The Garden An Award winning collection of Zinc Planters, Water Features, Outdoor Lighting and
Garden Objet d?

An Award winning collection of Zinc Planters, fountains, lighting and
Garden Objet d’art, handmade in Europe. Our products are built from heavy gauge steel, which is then dipped into Molten Zinc. We then finish the Zinc with an aged Patina, which will age down to resemble Lead. APlaceInTheGarden opened its doors to the web at the 2011 Chelsea Flower Show with the launch of our website aimed at showcasing a unique collection of elegant zinc planters and decorative zinc objects. The art of making zinc garden planters, so well developed in Victorian gardens, became lost with the development of galvanization for protecting metal garden accessories. The owners of APlaceInTheGarden have brought together authentic reproductions of classic designs and some fine contemporary pieces produced by the traditional process of dipping the hand made objects into molten zinc.

How it’s made matters just as much as how it looks…

Especially when it’s something designed to stay outdoors through every season.

That’s why our planters are hot dip galvanised, helping to protect them from the elements and giving them the durability needed to live outdoors throughout the year, from freezing winter temperatures through to the heat of summer.

That durability is matched by plenty of choice when it comes to design.

Across our collection, there’s a wide choice of shapes, sizes and styles to suit different gardens and planting schemes. The English, Verona, Classic and Sienna are just a few of the designs you’ll find, with plenty more to discover across the range.

Whether you’re looking to frame an entrance, introduce height, bring structure to a terrace or create more impact with your planting, the right planter can offer a lasting solution for the garden, season after season.

A garden feature that earns its place all year round.

Our Lattice Sphere Sculptures are designed to bring structure and interest to beds and borders through every season.

In spring and summer, planting can grow through the open latticework, allowing the spheres to become part of the garden around them. Add a spotlight beneath and, as evening falls, the structure takes on a completely different character.

Then, when planting begins to die back through autumn and winter, the sculptural form continues to give your garden something beautiful to look at.

Available in five sizes, they can be used individually or grouped together to create even more impact.

And if you’ve had your eye on one, our Lattice Sphere Sculptures are currently included in our End of Season Sale.
Discover them via the link in our bio.
