Penmaenman ✨️

We were called to do 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for a previous customer.

She wanted her bathroom in the Farrow and Ball colour, Pigeon. So, as it is a bathroom, I got the colour mixed into Crowns Mould Inhibiting Clean Extreme.

In the back bedroom, she wanted the red wall to be freshened up and the rest of the room to be painted white.

For the front bedroom, she wanted a drench, apart from the wooden skirts. She chose the colour Sulking Room Pink by Farrow and Ball. We had the colour mixed into Crowns Clean Extreme. The bare wood was rubbed down and primed before being top coated.

The customer is really happy with the outcome. Now we have completed the outside and whole of the inside for you, we hope to see you again in the future. Enjoy your fresh home ✨️

Penmaenan ✨️

This week, we have been in Penmaenan working on this adorable quarry cottage.

The customer wanted the outside, front and back painting and the pipes at the back painting too. (Sadly, I forgot to take photos of the back).

I suggested to the customer that we use Weathertex exterior paint. This paint has a longer life span than Sandtex and Weathertex is self cleaning. So if any road dust, bird 💩 or anything else lands on the property, the rain will simply wash it off.

The customer chose a Farrow and Ball colour called Wimbourne White and black for the pipes on the back.

She is over the moon with the outcome. We will see you in 10 days to get the upstairs of your home done ✨️

Cwm Penmachno ✨️

Our customer wanted to freshen up the two rooms. The yellow room was to suit her grandchildren, one whom love the colour pink and the who loves the colour blue.

The second room is our customers room and she wanted a green colour.

We started in the yellow room by stripping the wallpaper on the feature wall. To our surprise, there was a second wallpaper underneath.

Once the wallpaper was all stripped, we sanded the wall smooth. We also sanded all of the woodwork and pipes.

In both rooms, all the tops of the skirts were caulked, down the doorframes, around the window sills and all holes were filled using Tourpet quick dry filler.

The paint we used was;
✨️ Ceiling - Macphersons Brilliant White Matt Emulsion, 2 coats.
✨️ 2 walls - Crown Clean Extreme in the Crown colour Fairy Dust, 2 coats.
✨️ 2 walls - Crown Clean Extreme in the Crown colour Powder Blue, 2 coats.
✨️ Macphersons Acrylic White Primer in Brilliant White, 2 coats (for the woodwork).
✨️ Woodwork - Crown Satin in Brilliant White.

The second room walls were sanded as the previous paint was very chalky and there was many lumps and bumps that needed sanding out. The woodwork was also sanded as were the pipes.

The paint we used was;
✨️ Ceiling - Macphersons Brilliant White Matt Emulsion, 2 coats.
✨️ Walls - Crown Clean Extreme in the Crown colour Mellow Sage.
✨️ Macphersons Acrylic White Primer in Brilliant White, 2 coats (for the woodwork).
✨️ Woodwork - Crown Satin in Brilliant White.

The customer is over the moon with the outcome. We will see you again soon to do your front bedroom ✨️
