What it takes to make an antique chair new again. Complete traditional upholstery, stripping it back to the frame, preparing the wood, getting the straps in place with springs, using coconut/horse hair underlay and topped with 100% horsehair and wool linterfelt for extra softness and comfort, finished in wool cloth. Circa 1880 - 1910 Victorian Library Chair with castor.

With a set of commissions and personal projects, I also renovated my house...to be unveiled in January (once xmas decorations down).

Now I start 2026 with a work studio as I put my stake in the ground to start new beginnings.
