That’s us until the New Year now folks.

Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas with the hope that you can switch off a little over the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for your continued friendship and support on and off this platform.

Still here ~ have sparkle and shine stuck in my head as the Nativity movie plays in the background for a wee sicknote this morning ~ hopefully these beautiful pots will get their sparkle and shine on later and make it online in time to make someone’s Christmas gifting a little easier ⭐️

Inspired by a pit stop coffee break in the beautiful Conwy, North Wales are these beautiful Asiatic Pheasants serving platters.

Of course alongside coffee (tea for me) was probably the best carrot cake I’ve ever sampled ~ so much so the girls wanted to bake it for their homework this week but we stuck with simple fairy cakes as that’s as much as our current talents stretch!

If you are in the area, please, do yourself a favour and stop for a (rather generous) slice of carrot cake and a pot of tea. The interior is delightful, such a clever mix of old and new with the most beautifully upholstered seating in typical Welsh blanket material.

Both platters shown in the first image are available to purchase, please get in touch.

Take note if you do stop for lunch or coffee, head upstairs and take a look out over Conwy from the outdoor terrace, taking in views of the castle and St. Mary’s Church which has two beautifully carved little Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson mice!

Sitting with a poorly little one for company watching the vs Rugby World Cup quarter-final put me in mind of this delightful piece of naive art I picked up in France.

It’s an acrylic on board signed original featuring (presumably) two French village teams competing for a high ball.

I thought I’d share a few shots of the glorious interiors from a while back whilst things are a little quieter around here as we undergo lots of change.

Probably one of my favourite properties visited to date owing to the variety of rare and everyday objects placed throughout the Manor House.

If you get the chance to visit I would highly recommend ~ planning to return trip already!

Well and truly back into the swings of things over here in Northern Ireland - new school term started earlier this week and Autumn has made just as speedy an entry ~ not complaining but haven’t had a minute to catch a breath (and unpack treasures found over the summer).

Could not resist this wee doll, reminds me so much of my two as toddlers with the sweetest curly wee mop of hair.

Enjoy your last week off, or your first weekend back to it if you’re over this side of the pond ~ OR ~ if you are one of those fortunate European residents with nearly another month off school you can stretch out a little longer ☀️

8 weeks of glorious summer are soon coming to an end ~ where does the time go?! Wishing we could cling onto these summer days forever whilst really excited for autumn.

A really sweet little French oil painting of nectarines & grapes, signed. Get in touch if you are interested in adding this to your kitchen, otherwise it’ll be online *September-ish*

Right, signing off for our last few days of holidays 🍑
