Let’s talk prices! 🎂💸
Ever wonder why custom cakes cost what they do? Usually, you hire a pro for one of two reasons:
You can’t do it yourself.
You really don’t have the time to learn, fail, and cry over spilled flour. 🙃
Bakers invest years perfecting their craft so you get a showstopper that tastes as good as it looks. But behind that gorgeous buttercream is a full-on roller coaster of late nights, tears, broken limbs in my case, travelling to make sure you get the best of the best in.. the list goes on!
Real talk: Expecting a fully custom, high-end cake bar for £100 in this economy? My friend, one single prep step costs me £30 and I haven’t even flipped a switch on yet, let alone bought the ingredients or paid for petrol to get the ingredients ⛽️
I refuse to use cheap ingredients because quality is everything to me. But quality comes with a price tag. You can’t walk into Primark expecting Prada, the math just isn’t mathing! 🛍️✨
