1 year (and a week lol) since my first sale 🥹

realising its been 1 whole year since i started Every Cloud Crochet has really got me in my feels. why, you might ask?
it marks 1 year since i decided to start up a business in a sector i never expected to be in.
i didn't even have any stock built up, i was just making things randomly for friends & family, gifts mainly.
i took a gamble, and figured if it worked out, perfect. i can be home with my kids and animals, be self employed, job done. couldn't ask for much more out of life if im completely honest. and, if it didn't, its fine, at least i tried. a side hustle until its more than that - i was happy with whatever outcome because i love crochet either way.
i had 60 orders in the first 6 months. it blew my mind that so many people chose me, and some even came back to order again. it warmed my heart in ways i can't explain, seeing my work displayed in peoples homes, in their children's arms. truly grateful for each and every one of you ❤️
since February, nothing. 1 singular order in nearly 6 months and 1 possibly in the works. and honestly? its probably my own fault - not consistent enough, not doing enough for the algorithm, not 'on trend' enough. friends & family ask me 'hows the business?' and its almost embarrassing having to say 'its pretty quiet so im just building stock'.
i actually miss having the orders flying in, always trying something new, creating someones vision and bringing it to life.
i hope that in 6 months time, when New Year comes round again, ill have achieved something for my business this year.
and dont forget, apparently becoming a content creator needs to be somewhere in the goal list so 🤷♀️
