Weekly Life Lessons - Epi 5: Being 'Rich'
many of us believe having a flash car and a massive house is the key to a successful life - money money money.
realistically, this isnt the case. money is nice, sure. but those people who are money rich? they arent actually rich. they're lonely.
all working class people would benefit from having more money. but the world isnt built for it. the system isnt built for the people scraping by, the families struggling to keep a roof over their heads. the dads desperate to see their kids while they work and work and work, with just about a house to show for it. the mums desperate for support. its built for the people that are in the 1%. that being said, these very households are the ones that are rich in love, and happiness. and that, in my book, is more important than anything else.

love like its your last. life is fu***ng hard and we just keep going regardless - but Prioritise what matters. fight for what you believe. never forget who had your back. stop chasing people that don't care about you. stop fighting for the things that damage you more than they help. get the help. take the leap. do the hard s**t. do it all.

Weekly Life Lessons - Epi 4: Self-Love is mostly bulls**t 🤷‍♀️
dont really have much of a caption for this one - other than give yourself credit where it's due. our bodies and minds go through so much day to day - its hard to just force yourself to love every single centimetre every single day.
and thats not to say, you shouldnt Love yourself. because you absolutely should. but love your Flaws for what they are, and give yourself Peace too.

finally done epi 3 lol
i went to Edinburgh & Amsterdam over the weekend so my week last week was busy as f**k - but wow the break was needed!

​your Brain doesn’t give a s**t about your potential—it cares about your survival. 🧠
​when you’ve been running on high stress, the unknown feels terrifying—even if that unknown is the exact peace you’re looking for.
and ultimately this is why we stick to draining habits, keep quiet when we should speak, or stay in environments that eat away at our energy - because normalcy is what we see repeatedly.
​the familiar discomfort sucks, but at least it’s predictable.
​next time you feel massive anxiety about making a shift, remember: it’s not a sign you’re fu***ng up. your nervous system is panicking because it doesn't have the full map yet.

forced to live by rules. destined to live free. 🫶

the future is ours if we want it. its what we choose to do next, that determines our path.
what does your Life look like? are you spending your Energy on people that hurt you more than they help you? are you protecting yourself before anyone else?
the conclusion - the best way to live your life is to stop trying to understand *everything*. theres not always an answer, and you dont always need it.

ive been radio silence on my friends recently and it has genuinely taught me a lot. there are people who are meant to be in your life, and people who arent. the reason for those who arent anymore? it doesnt matter. ive spent weeks trying to understand - but theres no understanding something your brain can't comprehend; trying to understand it, is still wasting precious energy.

so this is it, this is your sign to stop wasting your precious time. and i truly mean it. you dont know what could happen tomorrow.

my friend, the chosen uncle to my kids, got dressed, packed a bag for a holiday, ready for the future and ended up in the ICU in a coma 6 hours later. Today matters because you might not have Tomorrow.
