What is Macra-Weaving? 🧶✨

Think macramé meets weaving…

Macra-weaving combines traditional macramé knots with hand-weaving techniques, giving you the freedom to play with texture, colour and lots of gorgeous fibres. Chunky yarns, soft merino, cotton cord, ribbons… pretty much all the good stuff!

It’s one of my favourite ways to create because there really are no rules. You can knot, weave, loop and layer to build something completely unique.

My next Macra-Weave Workshop The Makers Millhouse Craft Studio is on Friday 13th November, 7–9pm. It’s completely beginner-friendly and I’ll take you through the techniques step by step, with plenty of beautiful fibres to choose from.
