By the Stable Door Welcome to By the Stable Door — a little corner of the countryside where I create handmade needle-felt animals and whimsical characters.

Each piece is crafted with care, inspired by my chickens, garden, and the simple beauty of rural life. 🌾💛

It makes my heart so happy knowing they’re content, relaxed and enjoying their time with me. It makes grooming sessions fun for everyone. 🤎🐰

There’s something extra special about creating with fibre from bunnies who are loved, happy and very much part of the family. 🥰

This week, I’m going to be using natural dyes to colour some of Luke’s and Mia’s beautiful fibre. 🧅🧡🤎

Meet Tinkerbell, Pixie & June 🤍🤎
They’re all so sweet and love cuddles and treats! 🥰🐰

June was named after my nana, who had the most beautiful blue eyes her name was my daughters idea 🥰💙

I’m looking forward to working with their beautiful fibre in the future and seeing what little woodland characters it inspires. 🐰🦊🦡

Meet Maya 🤍 14 weeks old (a present from my husband) soft as a little cloud and already stealing hearts.
She’s settling in beautifully — I still can’t believe we have two Angora bunnies 🐰🤎🐰🤍
And I have a feeling our little family might not be quite complete yet… something tells me another pair of paws is on the way in a month 🤫✨

He was a Christmas present from my dad (I’m 45 😂).
I’ve wanted an Angora rabbit for years and the timing finally felt right 🤍
Meet Luke — he’s settled in beautifully… now I’m just waiting for the kids to go back to school so I can steal all the cuddles 🐰✨
