Another transformation completed this week 🙌
This project started with a worn, tired carpet that had definitely seen better days. After carefully removing it, I prepared the subfloor and installed beautiful wood flooring throughout the hallway area.
Once fitted, the real magic began — sanding everything back to create a smooth, even surface and bring out the natural character of the wood. To finish, I sealed the floor to protect it and give it that clean, durable, long-lasting look.
The difference speaks for itself — from dull and dated to fresh, modern, and built to last.

One of this week’s jobs Before/After Transformation
Spent a couple of days working on this parquet floor that had definitely seen better days. It was pretty worn down with scratches and a dull finish that had built up over time.
I sanded it right back using dust-free equipment, which made a big difference keeping the space clean while working. Once that was done, I refinished it to bring the wood back to life.
It’s always satisfying seeing the transformation on these kinds of floors—once the fresh finish goes on, the pattern and colour really come through again. This one should be in good shape for years now.

We recently restored these original Victorian floorboards.
It was looking pretty tired before but sanding it back has really brought it back to life.
Finished it off with 3 coats of heavy duty lacquer so it’s not just looking better, it’s properly protected as well. 👍
