I really loved this afternoon in the shop.

Mark from Earlswood, who creates wonderful marbled papers and whose notebooks, boxes and baubles I stock, came in to run another bookbinding workshop.

Everyone made two notebooks and chose their beautiful hand-marbled papers and cards. I think choosing the papers was almost as exciting as making the books!

They even took their offcuts home to make bookmarks or gift tags, so nothing went to waste.

Lots of concentration, lots of chatting and some very lovely notebooks at the end. Everyone really enjoyed it, which made me very happy.

Thank you Mark and everyone who came along.

Next up…marbled baubles! Make your own marbled ceramic bauble using whatever colours you love. Watch them come to life. I’m really looking forward to this one!

Some things are practical and made to last, some are beautifully designed and some are just there because they are a beautiful thing to look at!

This time it’s marbled baubles.
Who’s excited??!! 🤩

Everyone who has heard the news (in the shop) has begged me for dates, so here they are.

More can be added to meet demand.
Max 6 people per session and no definitive age restrictions, just younger than 8 not really advised.
Depends on the child’s abilities!
You know them best.

What a whirlwind of a year it’s been, amazingly loyal customers, new products, a new product collab on the way, my body testing me again and I’ve come through it all!
