Piethorne Valley Weaver I learned to weave in the 1980s, whilst living in rural Virginia.I returned to the UK & continued to experiment & weave bits n bobs for my own pleasure

I am a handweaver, pure and simple. I make cloth for clothing and other purposes, using traditional methods with high quality fibres. I sometimes use my own hand-dyed yarns, or felt. In particular I like to use traditional patterns in new ways - and especially using natural luxury yarns such as silk, alpaca, linen or mixes. I occasionally exhibit at specialist art fairs and markets. I also accept commissions from time to time.
