Thursday Thoughts with Donna, your fabulous florist! 🌿

Busy preparing for The Art of Weddings event this weekend, and it got me thinking about just how beautiful nature is around us!

We may be heading further into autumn, but just look at the gorgeous variety of colours, textures and foliage – all gathered from my very own garden!

Sometimes the best inspiration is right on our doorstep.

Let's give one of October's birth flowers its moment. 🧡

**Marigolds** bring the colour!

With gorgeous shades of golden yellow and orange, they fit beautifully with this time of year and are traditionally associated with warmth, creativity and passion.

Definitely not a flower that likes to blend into the background!

A rare day away from the floristry workshop today! 🌿

Instead of flowers, I was in my volunteer role as a Beavers leader, looking after 16 little adventurers aged 6–8 years as we tackled a range of activities and some tricky challenges! Thankfully, the weather was kind to us, and it was lovely to spend the day outdoors in the fresh air.

Safe to say, I’ve definitely earned my G&T tonight! 🍸😂

Next weekend, I’m looking forward to a full weekend showcasing my wedding floristry at The Art of Weddings, before enjoying some much-needed days off with my family over half term. ❤️

"I saw these and knew you'd love them."

All excellent reasons.

And "I fancied some flowers for myself" might be the best reason of all. 😉
