🌸 Blooming Beautiful 🌸

Wow I’m obsessed with these colours together, I absolutely went with trust the process and I’m so chuffed I did.
I love how they came together.
I fancied a different join to the traditional granny stitch join for granny squares and my go to flat slip stitch join and boom I adore the ridge it gave in the middle. By the second row I nailed how I wanted it to look, took about 40 minutes of restarts and unpicking to get how I wanted it.

Now to write up a pattern for it 🌸 and make more colour combinations, I’m feeling summer, autumn and winter colour ways. As this is the spring version in my crochet head 🌸

Back in May last year I created this patchwork bear blanket as a request, I have made quite a few since in many shades, over the last 3-4 months I have had quite a few requests to release a pattern for it and today it has been launched over on Etsy and my website, links are in my bio.

This patchwork bear blanket has a seamless solid granny square and bear faces which have been outlined.
The pattern has photo tutorials and hopefully soon I will have a YouTube video for people who like a visual tutorial.

🌸 New pattern release 🌸

Introducing the Floral hearts blanket.

She’s a stunner and so much fun to make and watch grow. Can be made longer, all is written within the pattern. I decided to edge blanket with a lace border, which was so easy to create.

The size of the blanket pictured is 27 inches X 31 inches, adding 2 more rows of hearts will add you 7 inches each time.

The Kayleigh blanket was used for a bespoke order for little Daisy 🌼

I made Little Miss Adeline a hoodie and a cardigan with counting sheep cardigan pattern.

I helped with the pattern test and tested myself with something new to me, changing colours following a graph and then after the first test I made a hoodie…. Yes I’ve never made a hoodie 😱 my first attempt was the cardigan and I let Adeline chose her yarn and she chose a chunky yarn which I never noticed for a while 🫣 it worked up well but very chunky, but little miss absolutely loved wearing it at nanas house, I took some inspiration from another tester and dived back into the pattern and created the hoodie, my colour changing still needs some improvements but overall I’m super chuffed with it 🐑

The look who’s arrived collection was my first written patterns to be released back in 2021 💞they will always hold a special place within me 💞

In the UK it’s recommended that baby travels with a blanket and not a coat or padded suit, making this blanket size just fabulous to keep them warm without over folding a blanket creating more heat and what a great way to arrive saying “ look who’s arrived “ 💞

I made the heart version with stylecraft special dk in the shade Blush with a shell stitch border in the shade Apricot, I really wanted a girls vintage colour theme.

Fresh of the hook is the So Loved blanket 🌸

The So Loved pattern was made in 2021, back when no other crochet blanket had this quote on it I just knew it had to be designed up 🌸

Jump forward to now and she’s still a hot contender and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Made with just under 3 x 100g balls of dk yarn 🌸
