Introducing Milo the Mouse 🐭

He’s such a cute character to watch come to life after each row.

Made with Yarnsmiths create dk yarn measuring 28 inches by 32 inches.

Milo is the 4th pattern release in the woodland creatures collection. Can we guess the next one on the hook ?

Milo will be launching later today. Upon purchase you will have the option of 2 patterns, 1 is in US terminology and the other in UK terminology over on platforms Ravelry and Etsy.

Introducing Mr T***s 🦉

Oh Mt T***s you are a clever old soul.

I just knew I needed to add some leaf appliqués to his branch 🍃 which is optional as added at the end.

I used the block stitch border to give it some colour and texture, it adds such a lovely frame to the blanket. Also written within the pattern.

Size is 28 inches by 32 inches in dk and different sizes can be made in Aran or any other yarn choice. Hook adjustments are written within the pattern.

Born in 2027 has made their debut 🤎

It’s been a popular custom request over the last few weeks and I wanted to up size the blanket design and add a new design to it. A heart balloon.

Pattern will be launching in the next 24 hours.
Ravelry, lovecraft, Pinterest and Etsy…. Although Etsy isn’t my favourite selling place right now with the shocking behaviour that’s been going on. Etsy really needs to sort out the issues and listen to their long term shops!

Size is 28 inches by 28 inches.

Made with Yarnsmiths create dk in the shade Oatmeal. My go to favourite yarn and colour atm.

Introducing Felix The Fox 🦊 🍂

I loved seeing Felix come together in design and whilst making the blanket.

He is 28 inches by 32 inches in size with dk yarn. Making him an adorable handsome fox blanket for any baby, toddler or child who adore animals especially foxes.

I used Yarnsmiths yarn in the shade Dusky Peach. This yarn shade looks amazing with the current autumnal weather we have here in the UK currently.
I did a block stitch border using Pebble Haze dk in the shade Tigers Eye, I originally had Wulfenite to use for the border but I wasn’t getting that pop that I wanted, but don’t worry it will be used for the next wildlife animal on the hook, and guesses who’s arriving next ?

Felix the Fox will be released within the next 24 hours in all the selling places listed in my bio 🦊🍂

I simply enjoyed every stitch and row of this beautiful blanket.
She was started prior heatwave no1 and was only handled a few times throughout the next 4 heatwaves as the weight and size alone was like being in the Sahara desert whilst working on her 😅 but as soon as it was cool enough she was back on my lap and I was enjoying every stitch again.

She has been gifted now 🌸 and I can finally share her beauty.

The pattern is called blanket no18 by 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗬 & 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 and is made up in one solid colour. The texture of this blanket is beautiful.
My lovely long term friend and loyal customer wanted a multi coloured version of pinks, greys and white. And just wow they didn’t disappoint.
A birthday gift to sister 💕

I really want to make another one in really earthy tones for myself 🍂

Hugo the hedgehog 🦔 🍂🤎

Such cute creatures, I often get them passing through the garden. I even have a hedgehog home and a hedgehog cam as I got obsessed one time in making sure they were ok and had plenty of food, water and shelter. One time it housed a very cheeky rat 🫣 who loved sharing the birds food.

Back to the blanket. I received a custom pattern order for a hedgehog and I had this little character in a file unfinished, so I dusted him off and set about in finishing his design 🦔 and Hugo the hedgehog came to life 🤎

He will be launching tomorrow afternoon 🤎

I’ve been keeping a little secret.

We have a grandson arriving soon 💙🩵

And he just had to have the “Little Man” blanket to match his big sister’s blanket “Little Miss” swipe to see hers at the end.

The midwife’s and doctors all loved her little Miss blanket and I wonder if they will see the same ones this time around ?

I tried out a block border version for his blanket and it came out beautifully, it really showcased the multi coloured yarn a treat.

Beautiful rose pink and cream heart pram/car seat blanket.
We matched the colours to the pram which was black with rose gold.

Always such a lovey pattern to follow and blanket to make.
