Sorry I haven't posted but I can promise you we arenstill working hard. I have had a few Ukrainian ladies in over the last few weeks spending time helping. Over the last few weeks I have heard more of their stories. Some have children here, some don't. They all come from the first hit places. Some of them still have their towns or villages occupied by Russians. 2 stories that were hard to hear. One was a lady she said she has a well paid job in Ukraine a home and friends. She had to leave and came to England. She said I am x years old. I now have nothing, no job, no home, I have nothing to go back too. To start again it's very hard, then thanked us for allowing her to come and help and she is grateful to us (ross) for everything.

Imagine having to leave your home and job and all your friends because one man decides to invade your home.

Another lady she is probably the bravest lady. She left her home that is close to the Russian border and fled Ukraine. Leaving her husband and son to fight he is very young aswell. You can see the stress everytime her phone rings, then the relief once she knows who it is. She tells me the sirens are always going off in her village. Which has 10000 people living in the village, or did we don't know.

This post is a reminder. The war may not be on the news as much or you dont read about it in the papers. This is still going on and it's getting worse. I know America has issued statements to volunteers asking them to get out of Ukraine as a swarm is coming. They believe Russia and Belarus will send in lots more soldiers. Which means some of the safer parts will not be safe either. So please help with food if you can. Anything helps. I know times are getting harder but if everyone gave one thing each month I could feed a lot in Ukraine. We have a trolley in morrisons and you can drop off to me.

I am looking for a bit of help to fill out the rest of my charity registration. It's a mammoth task and trying to juggle everything is a lot. So if you have experience with filling one out I would be extremely grateful.

I want to say a massive thank you to John Kyrle High School . They have been extremely supportive thought this war to us. They have collected lots of aid for us since the start. Plus they have now raised a massive £3188.58 for pur appeal. This goes a very long way in paying for our trips out into Ukraine and helps us buy things we get asked for. Thank you so much for supporting us. We really appreciate your efforts.
