Until I figure out my tablet I’ve been having fun doing cross stitching, so far I’ve done most of the sky, those who have commissioned me before know I adore the art piece “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai, and have even painted it myself on the rudder of a customer, obviously the background is different to the actual painting with reds instead of creams, I can’t wait to finish it so it can be framed and hung up in the house! Do you have a favourite piece you always go back to or certain types of art you prefer?

Sad times friends! My iPad, that which I would do most of my artwork is no more, it finally decided to die (rather inconvenient) and instead of me being an adult and purchasing another iPad or seeing if I could save the old trusty, I have dug out that which I call the last resort, my Star V2 pen tablet, this thing makes me pull my hair due to i have to draw but look at the computer screen not what’s in front of me. It’s also designed for most of the population (right handed) whereas I am left handed, does this mean I will use it? Probably, does it mean I will cry and order a new iPad through my phone company? Also a high potential.
But until I either get along with Star or get a new Apple enjoy this photo of my statue of Artemis I have owned for 11 years with a pendant I recently got from Etsy ❤️

It’s been so long since I used my iPad to draw! Unfortunately as it’s an old model it’s lagging and struggling to hold battery so when I used to be able to draw for several hours on it I’m now managing an hour 😭
I’ve resorted to going back to traditional for a while until I can either get a new battery put in it or upgrade to a newer iPad
But good old pencil and pen never fails, I just have to dig out my colouring pencils and watercolours again ❤️
