Sitting here hand stitching split seams on a repro viking age dress and I have new found respect for those women thousands of years ago making garments with rudimentary tools!

This last week I was working on a wall hanging that was donated to Midgard Vikings Brotherhood to be raffled off to raise funds for charity. This is their logo and for those who don’t know about this wonderful organisation well…. it’s an amazing force for good! Please look them up! Cutting and peeling the backs off the tiny bits of the logo was … how shall I put it…..fun 🤣 but as you know I do love a challenge and it was well worth it in the end as it was well received …. I can’t wait to see who wins it!

Thank you to Bees in the Trees for the lovely session today making Swedish Stars! It rained, it was muddy and it was cold but we were out in the fresh air making memories! Loved it and can’t recommend it enough!
