A very Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you are spending the day with loved ones, but most of all, I hope you get to enjoy yourselves!

2025 wasn't a year that left me with much time to stitch, between going back to work part-time, getting lots of jobs done in our "not so new house" ( this includes removing wallpaper from ceilings and constantly moving furniture around to make space so jobs can get done), being a busy mum of 3 and life in general. But I'm determined to create more ME moments in 2026 and get lots of stitching done again!

Feliz Navidad!!!

Have you started your Summer break yet?
To close the school year in the UK, we are sharing another teacher's appreciation piece we made recently: a sweet little stitch for a sweet, amazing teacher! We included a heart as a reference to the phrase on top, a pile of books and some flowers, which always add colour and interesting textures to the final piece.

I personally started working at my kids' school last November, so my own Summer break is starting too! 🥳🥳 It can only mean more time to stitch! 🥳🥳 (and endless snack preparations for my kids, of course...)

Whatever you do, we hope you find time to relax and have fun. Make sure to re-charge your batteries in preparation to do it all again from September!

It's that time of the year again; the one every parent looks forward to and fears at the same time: the end of the school year!

This year, we favoured framed pieces rather than bookmarks and we will share a couple of them with you. This particular piece is filled with personalised details: this teacher wears the same outfit for the class photo every year (of course we had to stitch him wearing exactly that!), he drinks tea from a cup that has family photos, coaches a hockey team and comes from Belgium (hence, the border).

We hear he was very pleased with his gift and even other members of staff commented on the likeness of his stitch person. 😊 Yay!

Today was framing day! Woohoo!
I've finished this gorgeous Sword in the Stone piece from 's Disney magazine. I've started it at home in the UK and it then came on our family US holidays.
I had my eye on this pattern for a long time and it didn't disappoint. I hope you like it!

As promised, here is the second "Que sueñes con los angelitos" piece. Are you getting sleepy and cozy by looking at it, or is it just me?

Both pieces were created by combining bits and bobs from different patterns, which I absolutely love doing. There is so much more to cross-stitching than just stitching crosses!

I was commissioned to make a lovely pair of cross-stitch pieces for 2 sisters with the text "Que sueñes con los angelitos", which translates into something like "Sleep with the angels", a very popular saying in Latin America to wish kids a good night sleep. ✨️
For the first one, I went for a little angel making sure all the stars were in the right place (OK, there's 2 moons, I was going for sweetness, not accuracy!). I chose pastel tones to create a soothing scene.
I will share the second piece in a couple of days. Stay tuned!

Remember me? This question applies both to this piece and to myself!
I finally finished this awesome Coco piece from the . I almost went blind in the process, but I LOVE the result.
As for myself, I started a part-time job in November and time for stitching is scarce. I'm finding my feet and I'm starting to create time to stitch (yay!). I want to design more projects soon! I'm always open to take commissions, even when I'm quiet on social media. 😊

When Jorge Bergoglio was chosen as Pope Francis, it was a huge surprise to everybody, especially to Argentinians, as one of our own was taking charge of one of the biggest jobs in the world.
During his first speech, he asked us to pray for him. And now, we need to keep praying for him as he battles serious health issues in Hospital.
I made a little cross-stitch to inspire us. Pope Francis has built bridges with other faiths, so it doesn't matter what you believe in, just pray for him. 🙏

I still need to wash, iron and finish this piece, but I love how it turned out! It is sooooo sweet!

Let me know what you think of the colour scheme. I wasn't too sure at first, but I think the greens and purples bring vibrancy to the sweetness of the bunny.

This is an interesting pattern, as there is a lot of fabric that will be exposed at the end and, also lots of half stitches. Another adorable pattern from the by

While I wait for more natural light to finish the Coco piece (I'm going blind with that dark blue fabric!), I've started a different one.
Who could wear these purple glasses? 🤔
