There is nothing quite like receiving a message like this over the weekend. It genuinely made my heart sing. 🤍
Working with this family on their project was such a pleasure from start to finish, and knowing that the spaces we created together truly feel like them is everything.
This is exactly why I do what I do.
If you're thinking about working with an interior designer and aren't quite sure where to start, I'd love to hear from you. Link in bio.

Sometimes a space just needs a little direction.
This dining room had all the right ingredients — a beautiful hand-painted dresser, a generous farmhouse table, considered artwork — but the space wasn't quite hanging together. My client knew something was missing; they just couldn't put their finger on what.
Rather than starting from scratch, we worked with everything they already loved. A navy armchair from Loaf anchored a quiet reading corner. Bespoke floor-length curtains in Zoe Glencross's Nordic Trail Ocean Natural Linen — made by the brilliant — softened the light without competing with the dresser's warm terracotta tones. A Tom Raffield floor lamp added a warm glow beside the armchair. And a bespoke stair runner by Sophie Cooney — bold, graphic, unexpected — gave the whole space its focal point and a sense of arrival.
The result? A room that finally feels like theirs.

My new Substack explores the British makers whose work shapes every project I create.
From English-woven textiles to steam-bent lighting crafted in Cornwall—if you're looking for craftspeople who prioritise quality over trends, I've included links to all five makers I champion.

Creating restful spaces is about the thoughtful details.
In guest room, it's the custom panelling that makes the bed feel anchored, the botanical wallpaper whose delicate scale works beautifully across walls and ceiling to create a seamless, cocoon-like feel.
The bedside tables were selected for their scalloped charm and sage tone, which sit perfectly against touches of pink scattered throughout the cushion and blind fabrics.
I also designed bespoke cabinetry - a wardrobe to fit an awkward space so guests can settle in properly and store their belongings neatly. Quality pieces from makers who care about craft - the foundation of spaces that truly feel good.

There's nothing quite like curling up in a cosy snug on a cold winter's day.
This beautiful west-facing room in Essex was transformed into the perfect year-round retreat – a space where my clients can unwind whilst soaking in those glorious evening sunsets over the landscape.
The challenge? An awkward layout, tricky TV placement, and an air conditioning unit that needed disguising. The solution was a bespoke cabinet that works beautifully on every level – concealing the mechanics, housing the television with all cables neatly hidden, and providing those lovely low bookshelves for displaying seasonal blooms (my client runs her own flower growing business, so this was essential!).
I wanted to embrace the room's natural light and create that enveloping warmth you crave in a snug. Earthy greens, warm hues and natural textures bring the outside in, whilst botanical touches help the space feel truly lived-in and loved.
A room designed for lingering – exactly as it should be.

A few days in Paris for Déco Off, immersed in the work of makers and artisans who share my approach to creating homes that endure.
From the exquisite textiles at Pierre Frey and C&C Milano to the considered paint palettes at Little Greene, every showroom visit reinforced why I prioritise working with skilled European craftspeople – those who understand that beautiful interiors are built on quality, not trends.
I’m bringing home notebooks full of ideas and inspiration for upcoming projects, and a renewed appreciation for the makers who help me create timeless, elegant homes for my clients.
More thoughts on what I discovered (and why it matters) coming to The Feel Good Home newsletter soon.

As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year that brought one of those rare projects where everything aligned.

My Cotswolds commission allowed me to work at the pace good design requires – thoughtfully, collaboratively, with time to get the details right. It’s the kind of project that reminds me why I do this work: creating homes that feel as good as they look, spaces where life unfolds naturally within beautiful, timeless surroundings.

This year reinforced what I’ve always believed – that the finest interiors come from relationships with skilled makers and craftspeople who care as deeply about their work as I do about mine. From bespoke joinery to carefully sourced European textiles, every element was chosen with intention and made with integrity.

I’m grateful to the clients who trust me with their homes, to the artisans whose skill elevates every project, and to all of you who follow along with this journey.

2026 holds exciting things – new collaborations with likeminded creatives, projects that will stretch and inspire me, and a deepening commitment to the elegant, relaxed interiors that have become my signature.

Thank you for being here. Here’s to homes that stand the test of time x

Today was the day that a house, which was once a building site, became a beautiful, country home.
I have absolutely loved the last 6 months of working on this project in the Cotswolds. I’ve worked with such an excellent team and have genuinely loved every minute.
I haven’t stopped for the last four days, and my focus has always been to perfect my design and all those little details.
My aim is to always focus on creating feel good spaces. The kind of place that invites you in to relax, be yourself and feel at ease. And I think I’ve created that very look and feel for my clients.

I went back to visit my lovely clients earlier to help with a few details whilst they install the design schemes I created for them.
It’s always an absolute joy to see my designs come to life, but most importantly to be greeted by happy clients!
The beloved Dog Room is almost complete, with the attention now being the Guest Bedroom and the finishing touches to the Dining Room.
More updates coming soon!

What a beautiful day to be in the Cotswolds and to be on site to check progress on this complete house renovation!
There has been so much progress since my last visit and I can really see how it's all going to come together. Walls are being plastered, tiles are being installed on floors and on walls, sanitary ware is going into the en suites and bathrooms, and the house is alive with activity.
My designs are almost finished and I can't wait to share them with you over the next few weeks.

Creating Nurturing Spaces // With Mother's Day approaching, I've been reflecting on the essence of nurturing spaces and how this influences my design philosophy.
What I've noticed through years of creating homes for families is that the most successful spaces aren't about perfect styling or following trends—they're about creating environments where people feel genuinely cared for. This nurturing quality is something I strive to incorporate into every project, regardless of aesthetic.
It appears in thoughtful details: the perfectly positioned reading light beside a favourite chair, the soft textiles that invite you to linger, or the carefully considered kitchen layout that makes preparing family meals a joy rather than a chore. These elements transcend style—they're about understanding how spaces can support and nurture daily life.
I'm fascinated by how differently my clients interpret their ideal nurturing space. For some, it's creating a serene sanctuary away from busy lives. For others, it's designing a vibrant family hub where everyone can gather comfortably. What connects these diverse visions is the desire for a home that holds and supports its inhabitants.
As we approach Mother's Day, I'm thinking about how the concept of nurturing influences design on a deeper level. Beyond the visual, it's about creating environments that respond intuitively to needs—just as the best caregivers do.
Whether you're creating a space for a mother in your life, or simply channeling that nurturing energy into your own home, consider how your environment supports wellbeing. Sometimes the most impactful design choices aren't about how spaces look, but how they make us feel.
