So we are set up and raring to go in the WI tent at the Westmorland County show.

For the first time, alongside me drawing, I will be running hands-on taught sessions on how to draw a cat's eye.

Really looking forward to this market. It will be fun to be back in Haworth, and meeting up with the talented makers after the summer break, and of course chatting 'drawing' with anyone who pops by.

Commission slots will be available to book, if you would like a portrait that is guaranteed to be ready in time for Christmas.

A grassroots market championing Yorkshire creatives is set to return to Haworth.

Had a brilliant time at the Haworth & Yorkshire Creatives last weekend. The new stand is great.

Come along see me drawing and have a chat, at the next market on the 23-24 May.

I'll be posting the finished version of the pink Galah I was drawing soon. It just needs framing...

While at the art fairs I often get asked what materials I use. I have just uploaded a new page to my website, detailing all of it. It turned out to be a longer list than I initially thought...

The good news is all you actually need (unless you are a stationery addict) is a sheet of paper, a few pencils, a pencil sharpener and an eraser.

Check it out here https://www.kbjfinearts.com/materials/

I've been busy on portraits in preparation for Christmas, this one is Duke and I have persmission to share it from Chris and Debbie his owners.

I'll be back in Hawes at the on Sunday 26 October. Do say hello if you pop in, I will be drawing (it is addictive) but I'm always happy to have a chat.

I have a maximum of 8 drawing slots available with guaranteed Christmas delivery, so if you are thinking about it, now is a good time to get in touch and reserve your space.
