We’re very excited to be visiting our London care home renovation projects next week now that work has officially begun on site!

Seeing these bathrooms and WCs start to come to life is a huge milestone, and we genuinely can’t wait to watch the transformation unfold. We’re looking forward to sharing the renovation journey with you.

While we think the designs look beautiful (if we do say so ourselves) every decision was made with one priority in mind – the residents. Their comfort, safety and day-to-day experience have guided every aspect of the design.

We firmly believe that practical, accessible spaces don’t have to be clinical or uninspiring. By combining thoughtful planning with warm, contemporary finishes, we’ve created environments that are not only functional but welcoming spaces where residents can enjoy spending time.

Monday morning meeting!

A great start to the week presenting our latest office refurbishment concept.

Set within a beautifully converted barn, this scheme embraces warm tones, natural textures and layered materials to create a welcoming, contemporary workspace. Alongside carefully considered acoustic solutions, every element has been designed to improve comfort, wellbeing and day-to-day functionality.

One of the things we love most about what we do is just how varied our projects can be.

One week we’re designing a Bar, Restaurant, Office or Care home… the next we’re creating a bedroom for a young child.

We had so much fun pulling this scheme together. The brief was simple: create a space that grows with them. A room that feels calm, welcoming and just the right amount of grown-up without being before its time. Somewhere that’s effortlessly cool, practical, and a sanctuary they’ll genuinely love spending time in.

Out of Office: The Design Studio will be closed from Monday 25th May to Monday 1st June 2026. During this time email and message responses will be limited. We look forward to getting back to all of our wonderful project upon our return.

As a design studio, we usually love introducing colour, texture and bold patterns our clients may never have chosen themselves… because let’s be honest, working with an Interior Designer is all about being shown the unexpected and stepping slightly outside your comfort zone.

But on this occasion, our lovely clients approached Rowanbeck Interiors wanting a softer, plainer palette, so that’s exactly how we approached the brief.

Light wall colours layered with beautiful beading details, ornamental furniture in mixed woods, stones and finishes, layered lighting and most importantly… plenty of family photographs to make the space feel truly personal.
